Solve Along A Murder She Wrote Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 7, 2026. Last updated: October 7, 2026.

Foster Entertainment LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates solvealongamurdershewrote.us (the "Site") and produces and sells tickets to live performances of Solve Along A Murder She Wrote (the "Show"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.

Tickets to the Show are sold in one of two ways, depending on the city. In some cities the venue sells tickets through its own box office system, such as Etix. The venue is then the seller: it collects your payment and order information, and its privacy policy governs that information. We receive only sales totals and the contact details of buyers who opt in to hear from the Show. In other cities we sell tickets ourselves through Ticket Tailor, which processes your information on our behalf, and this policy governs it.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, billing ZIP or postal code, and order details (performance, date, seats, quantity). We also collect what you send us in messages, newsletter sign-ups, surveys, and contest entries.

Payment information. On tickets we sell ourselves, card details are entered directly with Ticket Tailor's payment processor, Stripe. On venue-sold tickets, the venue's processor handles payment. We receive only limited information, such as card type, the last four digits, and billing ZIP or postal code. We never receive or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site we collect your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, the site or ad that referred you, approximate location based on your IP address, and the date and time of your visit. We collect this using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 4).

Information from others. When a venue sells your ticket, we may receive sales totals and, only if you opt in at checkout, your name and email from the venue. We also receive ad-interaction information from advertising platforms such as Meta and Google.

2. How we use your information

  • Process orders, deliver tickets, and send confirmations.
  • Tell you about schedule changes, cancellations, venue changes, and refunds.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Send marketing about the Show and our other productions, as described in Section 5.
  • Advertise the Show, measure whether our ads work, and show ads to people who have visited the Site.
  • Understand how the Site is used and improve it.
  • Detect fraud, ticket-buying bots, and ticket-limit abuse, and keep the Site secure.
  • Comply with law and enforce our terms.

3. How we share your information

  • Service providers that work on our behalf, such as ticketing (including Ticket Tailor), payment processing, email and text messaging, web hosting, analytics, and customer support. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Venues and co-presenters, to deliver the performance, for example by giving the venue an attendee list for will-call and safety.
  • Advertising and analytics partners, such as Meta and Google Analytics, using cookies and pixels (see Section 4).
  • Legal and safety. To respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, and prevent fraud.
  • Business transfers. If we merge with, or sell part of our business to, another company, your information may transfer as part of that deal.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, some laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly enough to include allowing advertising partners to collect data through cookies and pixels on the Site. To the extent that applies, you can opt out as described in Sections 4 and 8.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels (including the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics), and similar tools for three purposes: keeping the Site working (strictly necessary), understanding usage (analytics), and advertising and measurement.

You can manage your choices through the cookie settings link at the bottom of the Site, through your browser settings, or through your ad-platform settings. We treat browser opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control as an opt-out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising for that browser. Our Site does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no common standard for them.

5. Email

We send marketing email only if you signed up or the law otherwise permits it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. We do not send marketing text messages. You can withdraw consent at any time. We will still send order-related messages, such as tickets, receipts, and schedule changes. Our marketing messages identify us and include our mailing address and contact information.

6. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires. As a guide: order and payment records for 7 years for tax and accounting; marketing contact details until you unsubscribe; analytics data for 14 months; support messages for 2 years.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No website or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights if you live in the United States

Depending on your state, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, and get a copy;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling;
  • limit use of sensitive personal information (California);
  • appeal our decision on a request.

How to make a request. Email admin@fosterentertainment.net. We will verify your identity by matching details you give us to our records. An authorized agent may submit a request for you with your written permission. We respond within the time the law requires, generally 45 days, and may extend once when allowed. To appeal a denial, reply to our response with the word "Appeal." We will not discriminate against you for using your rights.
